Distance.
Nobody knows when it started, but somehow between us there has always been a distance. From one continent to another. Or perhaps, from one state to another. The furthest distance on earth is the distance between the head and the heart.
Silence.
Suddenly, silence comes between us when I have to discern about things. Perhaps, this is the most unnatural silence we ever had, but I know this is an important one. Whatever it may be, I know God is in between the silence we have.
Absence.
People say "absence makes the hearts grow fonder". How true that is, only when time comes we shall know. This absence is strangely peaceful, and I am assured that it is just at the right time.
Presence.
God's presence is so real in this period of "the next couple of months". And I hang on to this holy presence of the God who makes all things possible. I look forward to the presence we may share after this too.
And so I say, "Silence makes the distance seems further, yet wonderfully, God is between this silent moment." I shall trust in the God who makes all things possible, who decides what is His great plan for all of us.
